Came in to this establishment for a delightful spot of chips and fish. The ladies and I were tickled pink by the scrumptious chips which I am led to believe were in fact hand cut by the hunk a spunk head chef who calls himself the sous chef at this fine dining restaurant. We were absolutely astounded when we discovered the cost of this meal was but 67 dollars and included a thirst quenching beverage for zero cost! The establishment, to our utmost anticipation, included some sugary delights in their frozen receptacle. The girls and I have now popped back to our humble waterfront mansion for a spot of pride and prejudice, following our match of tennis, while we also indulge our lovely Maxibons! Appendix 1: our GENEROUS serving of chips! Fed all four (all ladies on ozempic) with leftovers!! Appendix 2: some (what we presume) is shark!!!!! YUMMO! Appendix 3: the aftermath!

After reading the mixed reviews, we went to this shop with an open mind. We were rewarded, because the fish and chips we bought were cooked to perfection. The butterfish was succulently melt-in-the-mouth encased in perfectly crispy batter. The chips were so perfect, every single chip. The potato cakes were the best we have ever eaten. We highly recommend, and would definitely go there again.

We have never been disappointed. Their butterfish and scallops are worth traveling for. Wonderful steak sandwiches keep my husband happy. Chips are the best.

We stopped in there yesterday (Sunday) for a 'picnic' type lunch to have by the Murray. Their chips were the BEST I think I have ever had, and that sentiment was shared by all. They were golden and crisp on the outside and white and fluffy on the inside. Salted to perfection! The chicken nuggets were cooked to a very fussy child's taste, and the hot dogs were amazing! We are considering another drive to Goolwa just to have some more chips! Well done!

The best fish and chips I’ve had in a long, long time. Perfect chips - large, very crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. Large portion of fish, fresh and sweet, light crispy batter. Very quick and friendly service.

Fish and chips were fresh and very tasty. Also bought two dim sims. Chips were huge! Great service. Friendly, very polite. Not long to wait. Seats available. Shop very clean. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend. Very good value. Will visit again when in town. Thank you.

Me and the Mrs have been coming here for awhile and the food is amazing each time we come. This is a true small town fish n chip shop that just does it all well. Cowboy burger is a must try!
